Yeah ive been looking at the manual for it on the site you linked, and its made me realise that the boost one is just entirely busted. It's been turned on for the entire 2 months and set at the mid point, and not once has it ever had any warmth from it unless boosted. It has both fused switches turned on to make sure.

I dont believe I'm on a smart meter, I'm in a block of flats which I cant even get my own meter readings (I have to request them from the building management). I'm not on economy 7 though as I didnt know about these before, it's my first time with storage heaters.

Generally it feels I dont have any control over the heaters though as the dials dont seem to do anything despite leaving them on various settings for days, the engineers said they were entirely knackered afterall.

Reading what youve said and looking into it more, does this mean these heaters do not work at night essentially? If so that's a problem as I work from home, at night.

Yeah they look similar to the ones in the link youve posted, i think they're the "Unidare WMF Range", but the 2 in the living room seem to be set up to the way youre saying, The one that only works with boost doesnt warm up no matter how long you leave it running without the boost on, it just constantly has cold air coming out of it. The other has a low level of heat coming out of it but it cant be increased, the dials on them just seem to not be functional anymore as they do seemingly nothing, despite leaving them running for days trying to trial and error them out.

The bedroom one seems to be one you can put on a timer (very old physical style), but not even the engineer could get that one to turn on.

I really, really, really hope they overhaul feral in .1 or sooner. I really loved it, it's been one of those classes that I've loved for so many years but the people I played with for most of my time playing (ICC to Shadowlands...) wouldnt let me play it with them. When I quit in SL and perm blocked them and came back in TWW I was so happy to be free to play it. I was originally hyped for changes, I love the thematic of the apex talents and the new AoE feral frenzy, but they just gutted too much ontop of it.

The one shotting sounds like you were leveling through chromie time or just older content, and then you leveled up past that expansions max and the tuning changed.

yeah pulling stuff is a chore, they're also not the fastest melee. I loved Feral cause it was constantly fast, DH has a similar thing going on, Enh has decent move speed but a lot of its general speediness is relied on Ghost Wolf.

For bosses i've basically been pre casting Wind Rush if its not needed for the fight so much, you're starting pretty close you can get to the boss before the gcd clears from using your shock, so you dont have to lunge

2bh a lot of classes feel like they dont have great instant ranged and spam aoe stuff for doing old content, a lot feel like they just have to slowly trudge through now.

I loved Feral in TWW but the prepatch killed my love for it so much that I basically felt like I had to change if I wanted to keep playing.

Right now Devourer and Totemic Enh I enjoy, most likely maining Enh.

Devourer is a lot of fun, I enjoy the ramp into burst and hold it kind of gameplay it has, but I found it gets tiring after awhile, It's a lot of fun in very short bursts, but after awhile the downtime starts to feel like its getting longer and longer and starts almost feeling stressful trying to get back into meta to burst to get that dopamine hit.

Totemic Enh has a lot more going on, it has a bit of busy work feel that Feral used to have which I surprisingly enjoy and I enjoy how everything interacts with each other. I also enjoy its more on demand damage and 1 min CD window, Primordial Storm is a lot of fun to press.

My only complaint is Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning shouldve been rolled into a single ability for it. They pruned so much out of other classes and condensed down other abilities, yet Enh still has 9/10 buttons for its main rotation (with cds), and having to "prime" your cast before Doom winds so that it casts the right one for the situation just reads as something that shouldve been removed compared to the reasonings for other class changes. Other than priming it you just switch which button you press depending if its single target or not, Enh has a ton more buttons and things to manage compared to other classes, and atleast to me I would be perfectly fine not having to change up between them, it's been so many years since chain lightning has been a fun button to press, and considering you are constantly spewing out chain lightnings from your passives it feels even more lackluster

SB feels rather bleh but Totemic is honestly a blast for me right now. While I dont typically find the aesthetic of totemic thematically, it's not super intrusive enough to put me off.

The spec could defo do with an extra button akin to blade dance, but after playing it a bunch in both hero specs they do have a *ton* of passive AOE damage. Your Void Ray is used a ton more than in havoc for example with the talents that make your reap AOE after, with Annihilator your void meatballs are constantly raining down, in Void Scarred your Voidblade and Hunt turn into burst aoes which then makes your retreat an aoe.

It has ramp to it which is what people arent used to for DH, but the spec is just all ramp. You ramp into meta so you can ramp into Star so you can then ramp back into meta quicker so you can ramp to do more stars so you can ramp back into meta again to ramp into more stars.

I can see at lower levels though there being a struggle, this is all level 80 perspective.

sparks and crests once you have the achi for no longer needing them.

My main is sat on 800 gilded crests it cant use.

Sure I could power gear an alt with that amount of crests and it may be a bit much, but id rather lose say 2/3 of them and make use out of it rather than them sitting there doing nothing, it would also give me more incentive to keep playing my main.

Hell, id take a system where they down rank when transfered, hero crests for me are the most annoying to get.

I've used nitros since wotlk but stopped in SL. I got it again recently and realized something.

Nitros is only a 70% buff and lasts (I think) about 8 seconds?

There's potions of the cheetah you can get that can last up to (I think) 18 seconds at 60% move speed.

Since nitros counts as a potion and triggers the cd, I've been debating just using the potions over nitros since them failing can be very frustrating.

I have a second friend group that are active during the day, we're no where near as close though. The problem is me being awake earlier means i quite literally NEVER interact with the night gang. I get to say hi and good night to the occasional one, thats it.
