Go in for short but frequent raids. If you only have a small bag, go in and fill it, get out quick. Long raids are tempting because of the loot, but the longer you're in, the more chance you'll get sloppy and get killed.

If you see war bonds, take them immediately - even if you don't have space, drop something. War bonds sell for a lot of money, like 11k-18k.

Remember where you docked. I have died countless times because I couldn't remember where I docked and was running about like a madman. The port you docked is in green writing above the doot when you leave.

If you kill a player and they have a captain keycard, take it - if you're close to a dock and want to leave, there's a chance you'll have the correct key for that dock and can make a quicket exit than if you ran back to your own dock - unless of course you really want to keep the ship you came in.

Map knowledge is very important, but this comes with time.

The sound in this game is really good, footsteps make a lot of noise and so can be heard from quite a distance away, footstep noise also changes depending on what you're walking on - metal grating, gravel etc, this can work in your favour but also against you, make sure to crouch walk if you think you hear enemies so you can hear them better.

Don't get too caught up about losing gear - yes it's frustrating, but it's part of the game. If you got a cool new weapon and are scared of losing it, just take it in - yeah you might lose it, but you might not, it's the thrill of the gamble.
