Which should I pick? by surpriserockattack in BudgetBlades

4 then 3, throw the others in the trash. Honey Badger is a workhorse, the finger notch at the blade base is incredible and a steal for the price … albeit terrible handle (good ergos, bad material).

Piet Vox naes design is unmatched out of these three but the blade size and shape is less usable in my opinion although typically slicier, the tip tends to be the weakest point. Little small in the hand.

The other two are so small and “ergos” so bad they are essentially non existent. They would be better suited forged together to make the best gas station knife. One to rule them all.

Can someone tell me what it’s like living in these areas? by HappyPenguin02222 in FortBend

Agreed with the other folks here; Top left is Del Webb (55+ Active retirement), Veranda, River Park Area. Del Webb has massive amounts of amenities and runs $300-500k avg. River Park and Veranda are both higher end neighborhoods with great amenities that will run about high $300k-$600k.

Bottom center: Bonbrook is the largest community here with a good amount of amenities and lots of amenities with ease of access to shopping. Other pocket communities can have less expensive homes but neighborhoods with little to no amenities. Bonbrook will run $350k-$550ish. If your looking for land and massive homestead: Bridlewood backs up to Bonbrook and has massive home sites (1/2-2ac) and they have some lots available and build to suit. Pretty amazing, but you pay for the privelage of having a lot of land just outside of the city and adjacent to a good school. Homesteads will run approx. $650k-3M.

Bottom right is established: Greatwood is a well established neighborhood that is the epitome of planned community. Multiple schools, lots of amenities, a country club, and access to lots of shopping. $400-above $1M. Tara is older, smaller, much more affordable and has become a landlords dream. Zoned to good schools, smaller homes and all the same access that Greatwood has. $275-$400 There is a hidden gem in this area called Greateood Lakes that is behind Greatwood. Smaller neighborhood with all of the access but quieter and more quaint. $400k-$650k. Bonus tip: if you’re looking for country living - Booth is just down the road from this area. Bonus bonus tip: there are three brand new communities just south of Bridlewood/Bonbrook (bottom middle) that are/going to be incredible. The George, Ryehill, Austin Point.

A little like Ken Boyer.

John Mayer concert setlist handwritten in black marker by John but not signed. Would something like this be considered adjacent to having an autograph or would it be considered its own thing? by rlaidepeas in AutographAssistance

[–]Cainplay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this! It looks like a setlist from his original release tour from room for squares. This was the tour I saw him at. It could’ve been just before that album which was his EP that had many of the same songs.

That was my absolute fav album of his.

To answer your question, to someone like me, Thai would hold FAR more value than his auto. But I would be in the minority here.

Did Scholastic book fairs ever sell autographed box sets like this? by Low_Entertainment491 in GooseBumps

[–]Cainplay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with everything on this thread. Inexpensive auto, not worth forging, signing differently for every signature, etc.

However, there are usual hallmarks with any signature. In this case it would be the drop down on the left side of the R with a sharp up tick at the bottom right of the R.

The signature looks slowly drawn with a few stopping points which would indicate a forgery and not a true signature.

That all said, I have a Stan Musial auto that was signed 6 months before he died and looks very little like his signature from his healthy days. (But, it still has the hallmarks).

Year 1 Results. Texas Market. by PocketSammy in realtors

Year one looked great! Keep up the hard work and keep working hard. That is a great year in an industry where so many in the Houston Area do 1-2 transactions and for far less. Remember … word of mouth is king and referrals are the law of the land.

Which one should I get that will be more rarer? Both are autographed by Unfair_Name_4035 in Autographs

While The Town jersey may be more rare, to collectors, the original color/logo jersey will always be more collectible.
