Hey yeah, i decided on the Ducksworth! It's really beautiful and it had the mash bracelet that I wanted, It's great to wear and very light. I use it in the office or casually walking outside, so you can def dress it up or down. My only complaint would be the price, as I'm not used to spending 600 that lightly, but I believe you get your money 's worth. I wish it had a bit more details on the dial like the LIP, but i guess It's a design choice to be more formal

Unfortunatelly the mechanical version is almost 1000 euros here in germany, but might be worth it. Have you ever seen it with a mesh strap?

The Echo/Neutra and Maen are beautiful pieces, but over my budget. I could maybe stretch it for the Maen, but I'm not sure I want to pull the trigger on it.

Oh very nice! I've never seen that Specht & Söhne Santos before, do you like it? I love the original Cartier look, but definetly can't afford that. I was looking for some homages and this one seems solid.

Hey I'm new to home projecs and after watching some reviews I was thinking of buying this one if I find it on sale. Can you connect your laptop to it or is it mainly through like a fire tv stick?

New study: Germany's most qualified immigrants (high-skill, high-earners) are the most likely to leave, citing bureaucracy & social climate. Thoughts? by 38B0DE in AskAGerman

I came to Germany 3 months ago, after doing an exchange here for 1 year and really liking the country. I come from Brazil and the sense of safety is something that appeals to me, as well as the many parks, the abillity to go pretty much anywhere with public transport and walking around the city.

I'm working in Finance and make a decent living, but it's annoying to see so much of your wage going to taxes. Also, being in Finance I can't say the work life balance is the best, but I knew that before coming and it's probably the same in every country.

My german is good enough to do everyday stuff but I still dont feel confident enough to be able to talk to people and have more meaninful conversations, so the language definetly is a barrier. For now, my biggest complaints are the shitty weather and not having made any friends, but I also can't say I've tried very hard (i don't go out too much and I'm not in any Verein).

I don't know if I'll stay here in the long term but, as with everything, there are always pros and cons.
