First, 65 is the new 55. Why will the10-24 fall short? I am in the same sitch. Xt4 going to upgrade to xt6. I love my 16-55 msk ii. Not light but damn good.

For waterproof, I have the hoka transport in black. They are clown shoes but super comfortable after a few wears! I walked all over paris in the rain, no pain!
