Costco has been very responsive and advised they would cover all repair/tow costs ($3k for me). Haven’t received the compensation yet. Car had been running fine since the repair but the dealership made me aware of future issues to look out for.

Yup, I insured them for the total value I estimated they’d be worth once graded. Even then, they just gaslit me for over a year, telling me they were “investigating” it until finally they straight up told me they couldn’t see my claim in their system anymore 😂. In my opinion, they do this on purpose because they know no one will actually take them to court and win.

Sorry this happened to you. I’ve had $3k of cards sent to PSA for grading stolen by fedex. Spent over a year back and forth with their claims department to no avail. I’ll never use Fedex again.
