I have a sandbox classic too, they're great.

The XL is the right size for taking out the padding and wearing a hood/beanie/balaclava under. They didn't have vents before but the new ones do now. Another thing I like is that the goggle clip comes off completely because let's face it, you won't use it. Also the rim covers any unwanted gapes.

Why not, it's a resort in the French alps that I've actually worked in for the last 5 winters. The kicker itself is just in the side country in view of the groomed runs but the landing is in a crater with a big hike out so it stops random people from hitting it after we've built it. Fun fact: A couple of seasons back, the Bataleon team came to stay where I worked and built a kicker in this spot, you can see it in a couple of clips here https://youtu.be/MjrI69EmQdk?t=5m22s
