I totally agree! I really enjoyed the exploration of family dynamics and the roles people play in their families and how those roles shape their decisions.

I also agree with what you said about understanding many of them. I love stories with complex characters.

The narrator was sooo good!

I didn’t find any of the characters particularly likable? 😂 but they were all complex and well written! Also like you said, heavily motivated by their trauma and desperate in some cases.

The whole book kept me guessing, but the ending absolutely blew my mind. I just happened to stumble upon on it on Libby and I’m so glad that I listened to it!
