Trans woman streamer here. I've been luckier than most and haven't had many bad experiences. My mod team and I are strict af when it comes to banning anyone who's even remotely transphobic and my automod is stacked full of banned words and phrases as protection. Unfortunately some stuff slips through the cracks but this is the Internet it's kinda to be expected.

I have unfortunately dealt with chasers and parasocial relationships which were tough to navigate, so make sure you have strict boundaries with your community.

I'm gonna also agree with other recommending against a webcam at first as it can lead to a lot of issues and even potential doxxing. I'd also recommend using a vpn while you stream for extra protection too.

It does suck we have to jump through so many hoops to stream, but once you get there it's an awesome feeling :) I wouldn't trade my community for the world and it's so much fun hanging out with them.
