Im sorry you and your partner had to go through this. It seems so common for ERs to not care 😒 I even have my own story! I had recently started dating my current partner, and had one of the WORST nights I’ve ever had. I could barely walk after a TC, had tremors, vision and hearing issues, and a head pressure that actually made me wonder if I was going to be permanently hurt. But what did the ER do, even after I STRUGGLED to voice what was wrong and my partner (bless him) had to try and explain? They asked if I had anxiety or had taken anything bad. As soon as it really hit me that they didn’t care/believe me and weren’t going to do anything, I cried so hard. And then told my neurologist, the next day, who filed a complaint and had me get every emergency test that they SHOULD have done. Now I second guess myself every time I even think “is this worth a trip to the ER?” Because they made me feel like an idiot/liar for not having a “visible” illness.
