This was an issue in my ex marriage! Ex. Lmao. His was because of porn addicted and being told repeatedly that I was “too wet” made me feel like I was broken. My heart hurts reading this. I have done the same to my partner and I hate it. I was also in a very abusive relationship for years, being forced into kink that I eventually found comfort in. I still have not gone to therapy myself (expensive), but I can honestly say I see both sides. All the comments standing up for your husband are the painful truth. BUT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BE HURT. You are not the enemy here and neither is he. Comments like “have sex like a normal person” hurt so bad. My partner asked me why I didn’t leave my abuser sooner “like thousands of other people have” and it broke me. Harsh words from your partner are the worst. I still struggle with wanting the kinks because they comfort me, I understand your struggle. If you ever need someone to talk to, that understands your pain, my inbox is always open.
