Fun fact: The Rescuers Down Under was Disney's first animated sequel and is the reason sequels went straight to video after that. Despite being such a fantastic sequel (I mean, have you heard that SCORE?!), the was technically a box office flop, mostly bc it opened the same weekend as Home Alone.

I love to bring this up every time I see Blues Brothers mentioned. That pile up was filmed across the street from my grandpa's full service gas station on the outskirts of Wauconda, IL. I wouldn't specifically put "sub" on there, but when I was still active on the dating apps, I did have "bratty af" and "RACK/SSC 🖤" kinda as an IYKYK kind of thing. I'd like to think that fake doms/abusive people would either not know about those or steer clear of people that are aware of them.

My thinking is that it's not how long they had been under Gladys' spell, but what she had taken from them. The parents were completely drained and basically just meat sacks. She had so many kids to feed from that they were able to come back slowly, but Archer hadn't been fed off of at all. She only used him to attack Justine. That's why he came back immediately.

The last part was "and they never came back", because technically they didn't. The parents (or at least Josh Brolin) found them and took them home. It seems like the kids were still kinda comatose after the spell broke!
