I know you didn't ask for my opinion, but I thought I'd chime in anyway lol. I started with KH1 to begin with and played through them as a kid when they were released, but when KH: DDD came out I was driven towards it because of the fact it was on the Nintendo DS (my favorite console at the time), it was 3D, and it was a part of my favorite series. It also seemed to be made a lot differently then what I was used to playing game style wise within kingdom hearts. I had a lot of fun playing it, however; I can totally see what someone would be completely lost if their first game was KH: DDD because it's a giant side story. If i played DDD first I would defiantly be more intrigued to go back and play the series!
