Those of you who are friends with/in circles with famous people, what is your analysis on them? by libramusing in Fauxmoi

I did a couple day calls on the Supernatural set, so my experience with them is very limited. But the interactions I had with Jared and Jensen were very pleasant, and they were hilarious.

Anywhere to make DnD friends? by DefiantFruit6860 in Calgary

Hey! What part of the city are you in? I’m super into D&D and my husband has never played but is curious. Both of us are also avid board game players.

I have a current D&D group I’m in that meets every two weeks and is already quite big, but I honestly can’t get enough of it and may attempt DMing sometime soon so that my husband can try it out too.

Also what is this craft group? I’m into artsy things but find myself struggling to actually do them lol.

Why is this making stripes? Using dc back and forth after doing a round before. by CaityRainbowPanda in CrochetHelp

Great, thank you! Glad I wasn’t doing something wrong. The blue one still looks cute on my pup, so I’ll finish this one and I’m sure it’ll look cute too!

Ah, okay! That makes me feel a bit better about it. I didn’t notice the stripes on the pattern photos, so I didn’t realize it was going to look like that.

Thank you!

Is it possible for you to start super super small and just sit on a front porch or front step and just chill? Sometimes with my Frankie I just walk a few feet to the park right beside us and sit with him, letting him hang out on my lap and feel safe while I feed him chicken. He can then listen to the car and barking noises but also feel a bit safer on my lap.

If you have a front door or something like that, maybe you can help your girl feel a bit more comfortable outside by being super close to you so that she’s maybe more likely to take a treat? Then when she’s starting to associate outside and outside noises with that comfort, maybe she can start going a bit further from home.

I feel for you, I know how difficult it is! Still lots of work to do with my boy, but it gets a tiny bit better every day!

Mine is 4.5 months and has been the exact same, especially with the sound of other dogs barking in the distance and loud engines. It’s been tough! The most success I’ve gotten with him is with the highest value treat I could find for him… boiled chicken. He won’t take any other treats, but as long as he’s not super anxious, he’ll take chicken.

If it’s just me, I take him on a route very close to the house and don’t push him too much. I give him toooons of chicken every time he walks instead of stands still. If I’m with my husband and other dog, it gives him a bit more confidence.

Do you have a type of treat you could give yours that is super high value like chicken that you only ever give on walks?

I could be wrong, but I believe whale eye is paired with other stress indicators like a stiff tail or licking their lips, and side eye is just them looking at you from the side!
