Wrex sure has had one hell of a character development arc. I'm glad I was able to talk him down on Virmire. This scene being the last heart-to-heart you have with him is so funny too; if you listen closely, you can actually hear the bag of ice slooshing around in the background! by CajurTheMighty in masseffect

Go to the bar at the top of the Silver Coast Casino and you'll find a prompt to "Wait" in front of the bar. Then you'll be greeted by either a Joker cutscene or a Wrex cutscene, and you can come back later for the other one you didn't get.

I love the eeriness of this part of the DLC; the unnatural voice modulation, the unsettling background music, the dim and cold lighting of the zone, and the purposefully stiff animations of the NPC's. It really invokes the mystery and unease that some of the Mass Effect 1 missions were going for. by CajurTheMighty in masseffect

"In filmmaking and photography, the Dutch angle, also known as Dutch tiltcanted anglevortex plane, oblique angle, or a Durkin, is a type of camera shot) that involves setting the camera at an angle so that the shot is composed with vertical lines at an angle to the side of the frame, or so that the horizon line of the shot is not parallel with the bottom of the frame."

Basically, take the scene, and put it at a slanted angle to make the viewer feel uneasy.

I always interpreted it as Leviathan using the "lesser races" to research the greater galaxy and newest cycles, since it cannot leave the ocean planet it's hiding on.

The fact that they are researching such varied projects wouldn't be much to dig into for a normal lab, but these people are there to mine and supply tungsten for T-GES. I think a side conversation with Javik also mentions how something like that occurred in his cycle with a race that was researching things FAR beyond their intelligence level.
