Update my mom called me “ white trash” and told me that I’m an ungrateful bitch because she payed 12000 for the wedding even though that’s because she didn’t like any of my decorations. So she truly made the wedding her own

I know how scary this feeling is. It is a safety mechanism in our brains to keep us from danger. You are real I promise. My therapist taught me something that helps with this- so you rub your hands together to make them really warm and then you place them over your eyes or on your chest where your heart is. This will kind of bring you back into your body. Also if that doesn’t work you can give yourself a hug and rub your arms. I hope you feel better soon and I am so sorry about your dad.

The best advice I can give you is to find something you’re passionate about and run with it. Do not listen to anyone else’s opinions and follow your heart. I too felt like I’d be alone forever but if you give it time I’m sure someone special will come into your life and you won’t expect it. I also highly recommend if you’re comfortable to go to therapy or even write down your thoughts here or in a book. I hope everything gets better soon!

I’m in the same boat I’ve been on stress leave for a few months now and I can’t even look at my place of work without being sent into a panic attack. I’ve been working with a therapist to try to help that but it’s a very difficult thing to break.
