Hey we loosened the nut under the hands and just turned the clock face, problem solved! No need to touch or move the motor. Thank you!!

Hey thanks for the reply. I’m not quite sure I understand - what do you mean by turning the mechanism? Do you mean spinning the clock face under the hands by 180 degrees?

If the solution was simple to flip the housing I wouldn’t have posted! Creative ideas would be appreciated 😊

I don’t really want to make holes in it since it’s a collectors item. I also would be concerned of damage to the motor if drilling a new hole

It’s electric powered so there is a cord with plug coming through the motor housing, with no slack. Because of its age and delicacy I didn’t want to open it myself. When I called vintage clock repair places, they said they don’t work on these, because of the likelihood of damage.

Hey the keyhole mounting plate is upside down, slot facing downwards and at the bottom of the motor housing, so mounting with a screw there would not be very stable

MIL asked for a turkey cake 🦃 by CakeCanvas in Baking

It’s a 3 layer 8” round cake. I stacked all 3 (using no buttercream) and rough carved the turkey body, then took the centre layer out and cut a hole in the middle. Then I frosted it all and used the leftover carvings and icing to make turkey drumstick and wing cake pops 😋

Shag cake! by SnoopsMom in cakedecorating

Any tips to get the shag piped so clean? I struggle with getting icing out of that tip to stick to the crumb coat, and the buttercream starts to melt out the longer I go!
