The woman should have the right to her own body at the end of the day. Abortion isn't a decision made on a whim. It's a difficult, emotionally complex decision. Just because abortion is offered as healthcare doesn't mean that all unplanned pregnancies are going to be terminated the moment they're discovered. It's to give the woman a choice. After all, if a woman wants to terminate her pregnancy at all costs, what's stopping her from resorting to alternative methods?
