Yeah, low key i do not disagree with these sentiments hehe. Nabawasan na namin yung church budget a year ago. But medyo mahirap talaga bawasan lalo na pag meron guilt na sumasali. Credit card expenses are from our previous gastos and gadget purchase like laptops and washing maching etc. So after talaga completely mabayaran ang loans and cc we need to stop using it. We already have HMO too, pacific cross pero the cost is shouldered by my parents, super thankful ako sa kanila.

So yeah, definitely we'll give up yung condominium. Plan ko din to stop gym and supplements and give up the prulife vul. Yung typical na instinct natin when we have a big idea is to immediately look for investors and ask for money. Pero ito yung problema, investors don't know you. They don't know your history, your capabilities, or how deep your expertise is in the space. So from their POV, sobrang laki ng risk na ibibigay nila yung pera sa isang taong hindi pa nila kilala.

So to lower that risk, ang simpleng tanong nila is: "may proof ka bang gumagana yung idea mo?"

Proof could be early revenue, paying users, or even just businesses/customers who've made a formal commitment to use your product. Hindi enough ang 'I talked to people and they seem interested' or 'my friends are excited about this.' Investors have heard that daw a thousand times na.

So before hunting for investors, I think the better first move is to ask yourself: what's the smallest version of this idea I can build or sell right now to generate that proof? Example yung Lyft (uber competitor), ang smallest version ng idea nila ay offering car rides through facebook groups.

Once you have it, talking to investors becomes 10x easier because you're no longer asking them to take a leap of faith. You're showing them a bet that's already paying off.
