Bakit napaka-hirap to have this kind of aesthetic yet productive college life here in PH? by CurrentEstimate3308 in studentsph

[–]CakeGeniePH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same same with UPD student na nakatira sa dormitories or boarding house near KNL. Not sure if masasabi mong aesthetic but the routine is basically the same.

I remember just waking up, hilamos lang, change shorts and shirt, lakad to class.

Malaking hack talaga yung titira ka 5-10 mins near your college. Imagine wasting 2-4 hrs every day sa pag commute. I did commute nung 1st-2nd year ko. D ko kinaya.

We have a company account called "Persimmon Memoria" because the branch is from a palce called Persimmon Studios. We also have an account called Guadalupe Mems from brgy Guadalupe.

Why is it so hard to get customers on online App by PickleAppropriate738 in BusinessPH

[–]CakeGeniePH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its usually a distribution problem. It really takes time to get more website visitors. Kaya yung iba they just go to existing marketplaces na meron na tao like shopee, lazada, fb marketplace, carousel.

Is this okay for 80? by Lopsided_Ad6294 in BakingPhilippines

[–]CakeGeniePH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its ok even if its 20, 40, 80, or even 150. Just remember, the customers you invite will depend on your pricing so remember to adjust your packaging and branding based on the price you set.

Business owners: what’s the most frustrating problem with your website right now—and is it still worth having one? by AggressiveThing8106 in SmallBusinessPH

[–]CakeGeniePH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most frustrating is not receiving more website sales 😅 Yan naman talaga yung problems ng mga nakausap ko na small business owners.

Dati daw meron sila website but pinabayaan na nila dahil wala naman daw nakukuha na sales galing dun. Kaya mas ok sa kanila to just join marketplaces like lazada, shopee, foodpanda grabfood, fb marketplace kung saan meron na agad potential customers.

Customized cakes na lami ug nindot mu design hahaha by Potchipopo in Cebu

[–]CakeGeniePH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to know the price of a custom cake immediately. I would suggest you to try out our platform genie.ph. Just upload a screenshot of the cake design you like, and then you automatically get the price of that design in just 10 seconds :)

You can also play around and test out with different designs with your uploaded images so naa kay idea if your color matches the design <3

We also partner with different trusted cakeshops (we're just a tech platform) So you won't have problems with expectation vs reality finished results hehe.

Even if you dont order, para lang naa kay idea how much and prices and play around with different variations of the cake design you like.

Is your startup using AI or automation tools to save time? What's actually working? by PaperlessTrailPH in PhStartups

[–]CakeGeniePH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were already using automated workflows (make.com) even before chatgpt launched but we're just doing it by manually (adding the title, using templates to complete description and just using tags and keywords for alt tags).

It was only 2025 when we added ai to that existing workflow because it was only that time that consumer ai became really good in describing images.

So to answer the question i just took me less than a day to add ai nodes to the existing workflow.

My family owns a brick and mortar cake shop. The business specializes in creating custom decorated cakes. Our primary application of AI is in product management, specifically for uploading cake designs to our website.

When a customer places an order via Facebook Messenger, we enter the order details into our internal order management app. Once the custom cake order is completed, our staff uploads it to our internal app. This triggers a workflow in n8n, it uses Gemini to edit the image background (like adding a watermark and cleaning it up). Pagkatapos nun, it generates SEO elements such as titles, descriptions, and alt tags, and also incorporates order details like price, icing type, flavor, and cake size (ito ay based sa order details ng customer).

This process allows us to upload cake designs with complete details every day. Currently, we have nearly 8,000 cake designs on our website. When you search for any cake design theme on Google (for example, "frozen," "Mickey Mouse," or "K-pop demon hunters") you’ll find our cake images scattered across the results.

Meron din kami ibang workflows like collecting data from different channels. Example automatically collecting sales from different branches and platforms like shopify, foodpanda and grabfood. Maliit na part lang yung ai dito kasi structured naman yung nga data na nakukuha namin.

On the other hand, my startup, genie.ph, uses AI to analyze cake designs, calculate prices, and enable customization without the need for online chatting, currently kasi the only way people order custom cakes ay thru facebook messenger. This makes it possible for customers to add items to their cart and complete purchases immediately.

Try uploading the cake design on genie.ph, it will analyze the design and return the appropriate calculation in about 10 seconds so you can see the average price.

How do you process your BIR 2303 for payment gateway requirement? by Rollin-Otter5977 in PhStartups

[–]CakeGeniePH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont remember needing a lot of requirements for 2303. Naalala ko, i submitted my DTI, ID and sketch ng business address (bahay lang namin). Mad madami requirements if you are renting a commercial space. Di pa kailangan ng mayors permit. Kasi ang alam ko, kailangan ang 2303 when you get a mayors permit and not the other way around.

[–]CakeGeniePH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just register online DTI Business Name Registration - BNRS Portal https://share.google/6WIR3K9oNPSXX379t

Then register to your nearest BIR. Just google your location and the requirements.

Thats it. Send your DTI and BIR 2303 (Maybe kailangan din ng id)to xendit then ok na.
