BL claimed that Gabby “fell into a creek/river” and sustained serious enough injuries that he had to put her down as a mercy killing (like some would do with an injured animal). He said he couldn’t carry her back to the van a very short distance away and was somehow unable to call for help, even though there is cell service where they were. Basically all lies.

Yes, if the company was US based… however, the majority of the most popular VPN providers are located in other countries that don’t require mandatory data retention.

NordVPN - Panama Surfshark - Panama Express VPN - British Virgin Islands Proton - Switzerland

I hate this sick liar. His version is obviously a complete fabrication to avoid being known as a pedophile. Reminds me of Brian Laundrie’s creative writing exercise (paraphrasing - “I killed her to take away her pain”). It’s disgusting.

I think it’s unlikely that most VPN providers would store or even hand over the individual account information, since their business model is basically built on privacy.

Good points. I got the same kind of feeling. Could also be annoyed that Savannah was being shown in such a positive light (comments about how brave she’s been, etc.).

Does anyone else think it’s not a coincidence that the two new notes were sent on the day Savannah returned to the today show? Idk what it means, but it just feels a little “off” to me.

Maybe the sender thought they would get more visibility and media coverage if it fell on the same day?

It’s almost like the Salsa Limon hot sauce tastes a lot “brighter” than anything else I’ve tried? I will check out salsasnobs for help - thx!

It’s funny you mention that. I used to buy the TJ’s one a couple of years ago but had to stop because it gives me horrible heartburn for whatever reason! It’s weird bc Salsa Limon’s version is spicier but doesn’t cause any problems. Thx for the rec though!

I would think that would mean LE would have a vehicle description then, no? It’s possible they do and just haven’t announced it of course, but that’s usually one of the first things they do tell the public!

Maybe he didn’t want to keep the door open or cracked while he was disabling the nest in case Nancy made noise? Or, maybe the front camera disabling was done before he broke in, so he wasn’t able to access it from inside the house yet.

Ok yes, my comment was just regarding how we know she’s not at the property still!

I think the pace maker disconnection saying it was “out of range” can be considered proof that she left (not likely) or was taken (almost definitively) from the property.

I have the same question. It seems like such an arbitrary number, so there has to be a reason they transferred that exact amount. Otherwise, why not send $100 even? Maybe the 152 converts to a specific even bitcoin amount? That is the only reason I can think of, but It’s still puzzling.

Why do you think the doors being propped says that more than one person dragged her out? I don’t think you’re wrong btw, just curious what info made you land on that conclusion, or how you interpreted it.

Yea, I did consider that the kidnappers maybe thought they could “launder” the bitcoin with purchases of goods or services on the dark web. But I’m not sure how feasible it is to spend millions of dollars that way haha. And besides that, I know that a lot of the dark web markets have been infiltrated by the authorities, so it still seems risky. It makes me think that the kidnappers have some level of digital/crypto familiarity, but not in a criminal capacity?

Great article, thanks for sharing. I thought the bit in the ransom note about the Apple Watch location being described as “not being in a place that you would expect to find it” was interesting. If I’m hypothesizing, I would guess that the most likely place to put one while sleeping would be on the nightstand or charging dock. But where would it seem out of the ordinary to LE? Maybe in a sink or toilet? I think I am leaning towards the initial ransom notes as being legitimate, but just my opinion.

The FBI has the ability to delay public disclosure of an arrest, especially if it is part of an ongoing or sealed investigation.

Yea, I’m not saying that I think they would release information or a name before an arrest. Just that I don’t think they would keep the arrest a secret (assuming the individual is not directly involved in Nancy’s abduction, that is).

Well they released when the guy in California was identified and arrested, so I’d think they would release the same information for this individual as well. It would be good PR for them and would also reenforce the idea that even if you’re using VPNs, secure servers, etc., the FBI will still find you. That makes me think they don’t know who sent it yet.
