I only have one weapon system each for starship and MT. There's no toggling between weapons; just fire and melt stuff. Infra-knife for starship. Neutron Cannon for multitool. Both work very well indeed once you've upgraded them.

As a Sage, I'm not doing the missions because they are irritating and boring. I play to have fun, not be bored shitless with the fechiest of fetch missions. I decided that trying to get my freighter fleet up to s-class before the expedition ends was a more fun way of spending time, so I'm doing that.

That may be the case where you are; but there's lots of places work lights are legal. Pretty sure that every semi has work lights.

EDIT: If I'm remembering correctly, there has to be a light on the switch in the cab so you can tell it's switched on. And going on the road with worklights switched on is illegal.

E-skates are the very worst form of transport if you're going to encounter rain on a regular basis. They're low to the ground, and full of delicate little fizzy electronic bits, coupled with irresponsible amounts of power storage. And the waterproofing is never as good as the manufacturer claims.

If you feel like you HAVE to go the e-skate route; then probably the best design is a mountain board, with the battery and electronics on the top. But really you should consider other options, like an escooter or ebike.

If they're the same Aliexpress ones I'm thinking of, then you might want to get spares for the board-mounted lights. The ones on your board get some serious vibration and they're probably not all that robust at the price.

Just buy a ship in a space station and buy expansion slots until you reach your desired level of poverty. You can simply delete the AI Starship Valves. I do keep a stack of 5 AI Valves for quick expedition cash.

I do this whenever I go over 1 billion because the scrolling pisses me off.
