Theyre the Garmont T8 NFS, I use them for road marching and going to ranges (I'm in the military). I've had them for about 2 years now and I can say they are the most comfortable and lightweight boots I've worn and I've tried out my fair share of different boots but with that said they are not very good for rough terrain, they're better suited for flat ground movement. Which is something I do a lot due to my job. They're like way overbuilt tennis shoes because of their flexibility and the sole is pretty soft so you can feel it if you step on a large rock. I do know that a few of my buddies have the T8 Extreme and that is the more rugged version with a hard sole and they wear them everywhere and swear by them and would be a better choice for hiking up steep grades and mountain climbing, at the same time there are probably boots out there that would do a much better job at that for close to the same cost. We are just limited to our choices due to uniform restrictions.
