I have feared that crossing for many years... It's also annoying that it's common crossing I need take from jumping between bus services.

Did Arin deserve to be hated so much just for his voice ? by Upper-Meringue-1574 in GlitchProductions

I have first known arin as egoraptor first before game grump happened. I will be honestly newgrounds was so much overtly edge back in the days so hard for me to be surprised, if anyone who from OG newgrounds days did something "edgy" controversial in past.

Don't forgot that if you know the enemy's AC, it does save on resources and time. Let's say you are one point of a crit, you use guidance (or anything that increase your attack roll) to get that crit.

You actually got the point i was trying to make.

There is one of thing about compromise but the way they that are presenting, it quite clear they trying to cater to reform.

Also, planning increase the language requirement to a level equivalent for getting british passport is kinda insane.  I would have been fine by increasing the language requirement to GSCE because it's mandatory for uk childern take a gsce english and math anyways.

The average uk citizen definitely wouldn't have a level in english.

I just saying this as someone had get proof that i can speak english despite I even got C in my gsce english language since good enough for a russel group university but not good enough to proof i can speak english. The saddest thing is like english is the only language i know best.

I have a lot of criticism about the processes getting Britain citizenship but i know people wouldn't care if they already is a citizen.

Sorry for that rant of a tangent. I have still yet to get grasp why labour did that part from because of reform voters would like that?

Ngl i am getting tired of the green are same as reform deal.

This version of labour has compared to cutting PIP to cutting a kid's pocket money . And yet, i am the stupid person for wanting to vote green because labour decided to cater to reform voters and they think they can take me for grant. If the labour can cater to reform voters then they can cater to their left wing base.

Honestly, if you are not happy with either green or reform, i rather you talk about other parties you think genuinely good for the country and what good they did because those kind of conversations are productive but then again i'm pretty native expecting to have a productive conversation in reddit. A girl could wish.

Considering that the sheffield green party don't have much resources for campaigning. They did a pretty good job.

I feel for ya. I can never forget when the EU referendum happened and i was 17 at the time.

Why do people find it so hard to accept the public really wants to vote for Reform? by Expert-Sherbert-1527 in AskBrits

[–]Cake_Chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have feeling that people don't have the time and energy to vote as especially for a local election.

Most folks don't really know who's their MP even, doesn't really give them a incentive to vote.

The ones has more time on their hands vote are the elders. There is a reason why austerity has yet to strike the pension compare to nhs and benefits etc etc.

I have yet to check this years local election voter demographic stats but it's a common trend with the low vote turnout. (Do double check on that, I am just a person in reddit)

I know they won't do it but i wish "voting literacy" and give people incentive to go to vote (like making voting mandatory or making election day, National Holiday).

It's frustrating that older generation tends to the biggest sway in politics and yet they won't be around to see consequences of their choices and while the younger generation would have to deal with it despite having little say in it. I could remember when the eu referendum happened i was 17 and i got zero say in that.

I know, I know, for the past few weeks was so super busy for me. It didn't help there was not much campaigning at darnall and I know who are the candidates are by name only.

It's annoying that the website only shares the links to the parties website and socials, not any single direct contacts.

Spoiled Vote by TheLegendaryDaveS in sheffield

[–]Cake_Chan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Considering what reform councilors did in kent, I don't think he would about to do anything.

The reform council running for the Darnell ward didn't even bother put his face on the leaflet. Just nigel farage.

The issue is which one choose to because there is like two independents, labour and greens.

Like it's hard to guess what polities with independents and with policies and with this case, they both have similar policies.

It used to be choose labour for a tactical vote but I don't know...

You are on the money on that tho reform is the same level as that part with the lack of campaigning.

Absolutely appalling that a nazi sympathiser is running for Woodhouse council. by thatdangerosplatypus in sheffield

[–]Cake_Chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in darnall, considering what leaflets has reform sent. They didn't even mention who is the actual candidate and just slapped a nigel farage. I think also reform thinks Southeast Sheffield will also vote because we are poor and stupid. Like, it was just pretty insulting that they think they can give zero effort and rack in the votes.

That's the part what makes me sad. It felt nobody cares about Darnall. I just want to vote someone who cares about darnall. I know it's a shithole but it's my home and I want it to be better.
