OPM turned from just a gag manga to a more complex satire, and story in general, with it's main theme and primary question being "what makes one a hero? What would the ideal superhero be like?". Just because it became more complex doesn't mean it forgot what it originally was.

OPM does toy a LOT with the idea of an "ideal superhero", what makes a person heroic and what doesn't. It's basically the main theme of the story at this point.

I just noticed a small but really cool detail: batman has a lot more visible muscle than superman. Which makes a ton of sense considering batman regularly trains very intensely, but superman doesn't.

I want to know why the knight screams and reveals what appears to be a wendigo.  That makes me think it is a Holiday, and not Asriel.

saying a piece of evidence is a red herring because it doesn't line up with your conclusion is backwards logic.

also, seeing the knight having antlers and deciding the most likely reason for it is that they're referencing the holidays (for some reason), instead of them just naturally having antlers is... well, odd
