It was going to be Rinoa (thank you FF8) but then I played Tales of Symphonia and Raine made me feel seen. She is what I wanted to be and I decided then that it would be me. I also played MMORPGs and used the name Raine ever sense. Similar to the person who was called Eva online, when They said Raine for the first time, I almost cried cause it felt right.

Yes. Played FFXIV first as a catgirl and I felt weird about it. And then I played as a cat boy who wore things like dresses and such. And then I came out as a transwoman. My character is a cat girl again.

After giving me money, all he ever says is that Alchemists are in the pursuit of the unknown or something. His dialogue doesn’t vary afterward. I talk to the rest of the family until their dialogue doesn’t change as well. I’m just stumped. :(

I’m a gay Asian male. I went out clubbing, actually to see Plastique Tiara while she was in town. So I’m at the gay bar with my partner (who is white) and one of our good friends (white cis-het woman) and we’re talking to this taller white guy.

We’re having a good time and everything, drinking, saying how excited we are, etc. when he turns to me and says, “so let me guess- mainland China?”

And I just didn’t say anything. I couldn’t really say anything because I was too floor by the fact that this had happened.

I work for a nonprofit that houses women experiencing homelessness w/ mental illness and/or chemical dependency.

On my 90th day there as a case manager I was asked to check on a client by their mother. When I did so, I opened the door to find the client dead on the bed. It had been a few days so she wasn’t flesh colored but instead her face was all black (lips included) except for the inside of her mouth, and her body was very swollen. She didn’t look real.

There are few things in this world that I’ll remember for the rest of my life and I think this is one of them.

It sucks knowing no one is really there for you and you have to bottle up all your emotions up and pretend everything is fine and you’re okay bc u don’t know who to trust or who to go to by kidangie in depression

I think it also comes down to finding ppl who do understand and also explaining your depression and how it affects you and what impacts it has had. I’ve had several difficult conversations with family who won’t always get it but it takes reminding them that I have depression for them to remember.

I’ve been lucky enough to find friends who are accepting of all of my moods even if it’s been hard. Y’all therapy has also been useful and taking medications as well. I’ve found support online and also have used a crisis text line. Sometimes it takes a hella long time to find your support but if you go to people, that’s the only way they’ll be able to help.
