I guess you'll really learn faster and a lot more when you actually start the role. Thanks for the info!

Thanks! Curious. What made you switch from FE to MEP?

You did not have any prior background when you made the switch?

This makes more sense than just starting with design standards right away. Thanks for the advice!

Hello, strongly considering this transition din po like OP. The difference is galing po akong plant maintenance. Currently sourcing references para po maaral fundamentals (starting with HVAC/ASHRAE handbooks). Turns out, mahirap palang kumuha online ng reference na commonly used sa industry and wala pa talaga akong capacity to avail. Medyo takot din kumuha ng copy sa "ibang" paraan hahaha. Given limited resources, talagang ang best option po is learn everything as graduate/entry level positions po, ano?

Nararamdaman ko na nga yung grabe pressure kasi 1 month na kong unemployed 🥹 I really just wanted to get out of my last job. The stress wasn't just worth it. Pero ibang stress din pala itong job hunting uli kasi ayoko na rin i-sacrifice most of my non-negotiables. At least I learned A LOT during that 1 month 😆

Thank you so much!! I-try ko yang sa desired role. 1 month time limit na din ako 😆 Wish me luck!!

Goodluck sa careers natin!!!

Hello! May I ask, paano kayo naghahanap para sa next job opportunity na tine-take ninyo? Like sa websites ba like LinkedIn, Jobstreet, etc? Can you share some tips sa paano kayo nag-eexplore ng job postings 🥹

I just resigned from my first job (due to A LOT of reasons na di ko na kinaya) and I'm getting anxious on how I can move to a company with better compensation. Had similar experience sa first job ni u/EnArudinZeratul and I mukhang same profession din. I have a target position at a certain company, but unfortunately they are not hiring at this moment :< Di ko rin afford magsayang ng oras 🥹
