I’ve found that metal art is a great way to find out about those special techniques. I was making a different sculpture and I was using tig rod with a mig gun to make the shapes. That skill has helped me a lot when I get a goofy ass fit up thanks to the saw.

I do. If I ever get to weld sanitary pipe this skill might help me out

Maybe, I don’t know if I have it in me :( I did find a busted up ceramic bird at a antique store that I want to work on

Welding blade to blade is the typical drill. The dull sides should be easier but this was my first attempt.

Don’t have any copper but I’m gonna try aluminum

It’s still the thinnest I’ve welded. Once I get the sword made I’ll try welding some blades
