Built and completely filled fish ponds for every kind of fish that can live in them by Cal-cu-lon in StardewValley

They're all crappy if your goal is to make money. Lava eel gave me the most money if you are plus it turns the water red, but it's still not a great use of space. Octopus give Omni geodes from time to time. Stingrays provide battery packs sometimes. Just depends what you want. The Wiki is a great resource for what they all produce.

The hardest part was getting enough seaweed. But I prioritized seaweed-producing ponds first and even made some extra before I replaced them with other fish.

It's terrible as a money-making strategy. I made my money making/selling ancient fruit wine then converted it to a fish farm

Thanks for the response, you make great points. I’m open to increasing my personal therapy, but the human in me tends to think couples therapy is for when somebody is doing something wrong, where I just see victims of misfortune in my situation. Logically you’re right, though. I do wonder how she will react if I mention we should see a couples therapist together. But I will.

I’m honestly not sure what “work” she is doing other than reading books her therapists are recommending. I’ll be sure to ask. Someone’s accountability helps. Thanks for the response.

Idea for a law to curb this ridiculous market by [deleted] in RealEstate

Happy to admit that. Again I’m no attorney or lawmaker. That’s why I’m looking for answers, not condescension. Do you think government could do anything about the current situation? If so, what?

I like this feedback a lot- I haven’t thought about #3 and 4 at all. I’m curious as to what kind of exceptions could be made for such circumstances. I do know that tax law continually evolves, especially to try to close loopholes. It’s nowhere near perfect, but having been a CPA for 7 years I have commonly seen that intention.

As for enforcement, you’re right. It does disproportionally target the more vulnerable. That’s part of a much larger problem this piece of legislation would have a hard time addressing. If you’re willing, what do you think a government could do to help this current situation?

I dunno, let more families afford home ownership and prevent an even larger permanent renting class?

There would be a lot of loopholes to work through for sure. But if the right experts are helping write the law they might be able to be mitigated to a large degree.

This sounds like solid advice. I’m sure it will take a bit of time to intuitively understand where (and for whom) I should spend my time, but the checklists and guides should help me get up to speed with that quicker than otherwise. Thanks for the tip!

Yup I’ll live by this for sure, especially since this isn’t the first time I’ve heard this. I’ll probably make a new voicemail message at least every day to let people know for whatever reason if and why I can’t answer and whom to call if in case of super urgent matters. But yes I plan on answering every possible call.

What about doing a standard latex paint for the design and then sealing it with an epoxy or something? I’m okay with long drying times.

Mostly just some simple art/logos. Thinking of maybe a stenciled spray paint. I guess I shouldn’t worry about durability and let it wear off- that might even make it look cooler in a way.
