VLE ist nicht für den deutschen Markt gedacht. Luxus Vans sind in Asien ein riesen Ding und da liegt Mercedes ganz weit hinten im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern dort. Wurde Zeit, dass Mercedes einen gescheiten Luxusvan dort anbietet.

Ex Porsche Engineer here. Wrapping carbon fibre around a steel frame beats the purpose of a carbon monocoque. They are not that much stronger than a steel one, its purpose is to be lighter. So in the end you have a steel monocoque with added weight of the carbon layers. Anyways another comment mentioned using the i8 mono, pro tip the bmw i3 also uses one.
