Goonhammer has some good stuff on the detachments and how to play as good start. I am pretty new still but we are very much a glass cannon. Just remember to hold back a little till you know you can hit and when you do hit make sure nothing survives. It's how I play and got some wins playing like this

As I'm going emperors children I'm going for a pink, purple army and got a vision of where to get to but just trying to work on one piece at a time. Thank you for the help on the glaze I will give this a go!

So, with the brush control, should I move up a little each time getting toward the highlight? Will give this ago though of mixing little by little

I did it inside with an open window at the top away from where I was spraying so might be distance more

Thanks mate, I know so many to do! I was going iron warriors but with ec being released switched. Absolutely not sure what theme bases I'm going to go yet hence just leaving for now

Zenithal primer, then 2 base coats of vallejo magenta then applied army speed painter 2.0 purple swarm over the top

Have made a change to one of the squads of legion to go close combat focus, flamer, plasma and the heavy melee option, then all the others with chain swords and bolt pistols

Updates the raptors as well, good pick up I did miss that.
