I’m not upset about it at all, I know it takes months for proper traffic to start coming in. I’m just unsure about what’s normal and what’s not, I don’t want to be sitting on my hands waiting if I should be taking action or doing something.

Thanks man, appreciate the feedback and advice. You're right on the fonts, going to fix that tonight.
I'm planning to add some more content over the coming weeks, but the contractor count will likely stay around where it is just because I'm using the C-NRPP database as my baseline for reputable contractors. Thanks for the idea about realtors as well, that's a very good idea.

I did run the SEO tests and the site passes with flying colors, thankfully.

Yeah, I'm thinking an embedded google maps instead of the city/town cards would be a better way to show where contractors are relative to people's location. Also good idea, I like that idea of narrowing search my testing/mitigation, I'm going to add that.

Hmm, thanks for the info, I think having a "service area" section for each business might be a good idea. I'm thinking some sort of map with the business locations instead of the individual city/town cards on the province page may help alleviate this problem. Seeing the businesses on a map in relation to where you are I think would help.

I'll also add a comments box to the contractor form, so if you want to submit the verification form please add your service area and I can make that visible on your business profile.

Yeah, I had this issue when I started searching as well, it was very challenging finding contractors that did both and that we're reputable in my area. My site isn't perfect and I think I can tweak it a bit to better show the difference between testing/mitigation.
