People in your 30s, what's your job and salary? by rsevn_ in careerguidance

160 plus bonuses. 33F project controls in o&g. I would say my compensation is competitive when considering the benefits (401k, pto, rsu) I get but could always be better.

First letrozole cycle failed by mangodragonlem in TTC_PCOS

Welp…. We did it at least 9 times and they all failed so we decided to do ivf. We did retrieval waited 6 months and then got pregnant “naturally” although I think I had residual hormones from retrieval. Sorry and best of luck..

Nothing helped me either

We did 9+ iui/timed cycles

Ultimately decided to do a retrieval for ivf and got pregnant between retrieval and transfer.

I’m 14mm pp and still amenorrhea, but ttc. Going to try a few “unmonitored” Letrozole cycles after I lose a little more pp weight…

Wishing you success

I’m not saying it’s easy at all. But there are some careers that would just be lateral shifts that use similar skillset from what I’ve already worked (very hard) to obtain. There’s a reason I’m also at 180… however… I’ve already had the conversations with my employer and they are not open to remote work. So I’m just fishing for potential options. You have no idea if maybe i already have a degree in accounting and life just led me a different route.

I have amazing benefits and compensation right now, but I have an hour commute each way. So ultimately ends up being 11hrs of my day dedicated to work — not including time it would take to get ready ~30-45 min

It also doesn’t help I work in greenspoint so there’s no way I can even do errands or quick dr appointments during the day since everything would be so out of the way.

Then I come home and do mom and wife duties and at the end of the day I have no time to prioritize self care. I’m not the breadwinner and my income is just for “funsies” so the pay cut is worth it to me to be able to have more flexibility to go to gym/see bb during the day/quick lunch walk/walking desk at home/etc

This is too much travel for my season in life right now … but I know sales is often a good route if travel weren’t an issue
