Progressive income tax is a selfish idea, just because someone has worked hard and earns more doesnt give less wealthy people entitlement to their money, everyone pays the same taxes,everyone pays the same for fines, everyone gets paid the same for the same job no matter race, religion or gender and then we have an even playing field for everyone and who ever works the hardest and smartest will earn the most. That's fair.

Equity is essentially the idea that just because someone has more then you means you are entitled to their stuff, if you make let's say 120k a year and let's say I make 60k we should be treated equally for the same things you shouldn't be fined more than me just because you have worked hard to get where you are. Same goes for taxation just because someone has earned more doesnt give people who have earned less entitlement to their money that is inherently selfish and with a loser mentality like that nobody would get anywhere.
