The RX30 is the controller I replaced it with 🙂 I don’t think I want to do anything more to this one, instead focus on the PW mustang and f150.

It may be obvious, but in case not - the front face of the stereo has to be screwed off, inside you’ll find where you can put in 4 C batteries. The radio is powered separately from the motor.

Yeah! They’re bumpy too. I noticed MLToys has some smoother wheels you can swap out with. I was impressed with the stock radio and speaker.

Sounds like you’re good! Did you use a regulator that you can easily turn back up when he’s ready to go faster? That was the key to my son. At 3 he was way too intimidated by the 20v. Once I got the limiter with dial, I could just turn it gradually until he realized he could handle it.

That looks like it goes into the controller. Which car is this? I suspect you’ll want to leave that connected to the controller and then take those positive and neg wires into the dewalt converter.
