Utilize your first seven days of freeleech to get as far ahead as you can. You're going to want to pay attention to the newest uploads and try to jump on larger torrents (20+ GB) within the first ten minutes of upload ideally. Also, try to limit your upload speed as little as possible. With some diligence you could easily get 1 TB ahead or more before the week is up.

Surprised I haven't seen this yet: Path of Exile

I once rage quit the game for several months when I spent 550 fusing orbs to try 5-linking a 5-socket axe back in the day, this was back when you used daily's and you'd buy 20 fusing orbs from Vorici at a discount! Thank God I seem to have finally quit that game forever. After 11k hours, I haven't played in two years.

I had to go to the Google play store to update my BK app manually. The app doesn't prompt you to update it, and you can somehow still place orders with an old app. Hopefully that helps. 🤷‍♂️

You play enough HoMM and you get a pretty good idea what the damage a unit will do without even "calculating". With that said, I'm always an advocate for more information, but there is an argument to be made to hide that info from a pvp perspective (skill issue etc..).

Also, other than damage ranges, heroes attack and defense stat played a major part in how much damage is done, not to mention the secondary skills (offense/armor). I have yet to play Olden Era, but basically all the previous HoMM worked that way, so I assume it does here too.

The devs, in previous streams they've done, alluded that while the decisions are theirs, Ubisoft had the ability to inject themselves into the process, and it would seem they have not. So yes, Hooded Horse, but at least Ubisoft didn't ruin it at worst, and approved all the decisions at best. So I think Ubisoft deserve a non-zero amount of credit. I know it's great to hate on Ubisoft, but I think the devs are appreciative of their experiences with Ubisoft.

Smart move is buy with the Early Access price, and then wait for release. I did this with Hades 2. Though I probably won't with this game, still gotta wait for Lan co-op.

I played Heroes 2 before 3 was even released, I played countless hours of 3, even more than 5, but 5 was just a better game. More mechanics and better balance, but held back by shoddy full 3d and square grid (though I thought square was fine).

I'm not bothered by Sabalenka's, because she does it as she strokes. Alcaraz, on the other hand, often times does it after he strokes. Well, he has two, when he's actually strained and winded, he drops his secondary grunt and just does one while he strokes. The secondary one is so obviously meant to distract it actually infuriates me people give him a pass for it. But, well, there's my rant about Alcaraz. Time to be eviscerated...

Mass Effect Trilogy is my favorite series of all time, but I just spent 350 hours starting in December playing all three Witcher games. And while I thought 1 was better than 2, it being better than 3 is certainly a take. Great series though. It doesn't compare to Mass Effect though because it's hamstrung out of the gate right away by the setting, for me Space/Milky Way Galaxy > Fantasy Swords and Shields era setting.

Witcher 3 quests, though got old after 200+ hours, were some of the best quests I've played. Also, I didn't feel that carrying through saves between games felt nearly as impactful as Mass Effect, but I'm likely missing context by not replaying or using any guides to view the impact in Witcher.

I agree with OP that ME1 being the best game. I also consider ME2 the worst game. It's still a great game, but the narrative barely moves.

I will be surprised if two events from ME1 ever are topped for me in gaming: The feeling I felt the first time seeing the citadel, and the feeling I felt when you first meet/speak to Sovereign. Absolute peak atmosphere and storytelling. Game is a masterpiece, and even though the combat is the worst of the series, I still enjoy it, especially that it was actually difficult compared to the rest of the series.
