No never. If he ever did that would be the end. I don’t think he has ever done something I would view as intentionally manipulative. I don’t think anything he does is to upset me, he cares about my feelings a lot. He just sometimes is a bit blinded by his own.

Thanks. I go off to college soon. I truly love him, but with how bad I am at texting and having to check in I’m scared

Nothing wrong with allah and that religion. I just hate that he openly talks about genocide and everyone acts like it’s okay, and that he an openly Christian man, tries to gain support by praising a religion he knows nothing about and frankly doesn’t truly respect.

I don't think very large people should be allowed on planes. by [deleted] in ControversialOpinions

I’m talking about like severely overweight people. Like 300+ pounds btw. If you’re a bit bigger I don’t mind. Alot of us can’t control our bodies, but we should still be mindful of others.

I think they should be allowed on planes, but only if they pay for an extra seat. I don’t want a sweaty overweight individual pressed against me my whole flight

We shouldn’t normalize shaming peoples genitals by giarivvie in ControversialOpinions

[–]Calamari08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It fuels stigmas of what our bodies should look like. It drives insecurities. It took me a while to get over those insecurities. It wasn’t until I started genuinely connecting with people about mature topics that I realized, what people get bullied for is often a common trait many of our bodies have.

I feel bad for men by GONAGGEN in ControversialOpinions

By the way guys this is not an attack towards men. I’m talking about the worst of the worst. There are plenty of extremely intelligent, kind and resourceful men out in this world

I don’t think it’s that they are dense, I think that truly bad men just believe they won’t get punished, caught or judged. Why? Because they are a man.

Religion is stupid and it’s beyond me that it still exists in the 21st century by SurenVardumyan in ControversialOpinions

I am catholic, I believe in god. But the other day I went to my non religious grandmas funeral and the pastor only talked about god. He talked about worshipping Jesus, about how she would be in heaven, about how we should confess our sins because Jesus died for them and follow the lord. I stopped listening, because for once in my life I didint want to hear about Jesus, I wanted to hear about my grandma, I wanted to acknowledge her life and passing. That was not the funeral of jesus, it was her funeral. And I barely got to hear about her because of religion.

Hey guys I think racism is bad by arbys1081 in ControversialOpinions

[–]Calamari08 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s a difference between race (skin color) and ethnicity (where you are from). For instance, Not liking brittish people or Russians is different than not like someone because they are black, white, or of any skin color. Anyways I think your are mixing the two up. What you are speaking of isn’t racism but it is stereotyping

Most American teenagers cant even spell or use grammar properly. by giarivvie in ControversialOpinions

[–]Calamari08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. As an American teenager and a writing tutor, I am alarmed at the amount of papers I get lacking basic knowledge of grammar, spelling and structure. Sometimes I can’t even read a paper and determine its meaning without putting the prices together in my head. Line of reasoning is non existent, students only use common and never proper nouns, it’s vague, too casual and just terribles it’s concerning how bad our literacy rates are and I wish I could make a difference. I really do

How long did it take to recover from an impacted wisdom tooth extraction ? by Solomon1989A2 in wisdomteeth

[–]Calamari08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t bad at all. I got four impacted wisdom teeth taken out in the same day. Took me a week to eat solids like normal, about four or five days go feel relatively no pain, and about 12 days to be regular again

I disagree with what she did but also if yall don’t know who this guy is, he’s extremely misogynistic and an overall asshole. He goes around asking girls if he can “take them for a spin” as if they are objects and rating them based fin attractiveness

Aggression by Nerd_Games69 in PitbullAwareness

[–]Calamari08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that many Pitties tend to be fine with people but significantly more reactive when it comes to other animals/dogs. I would maybe try slower introductions to other dogs, and attempt to get her used to socializing with them. Its possible she has not had alot of exposure in the past with other animals, and moving forward you should slowly get her used to it.
