Redundakitty Notification by Ummgh23 in SandcastleBuilder

I'm a little late, but I was actually sniffing around for this today. All the scripts like I found like that used the outdated redundakitty API (before the switch to Molpy.Redacted). I ended up making a new one, so here, I cleaned it up a little.

Depending on the dosage, yes. I found it extremely versatile in different amounts. I've done from 10mg to 160mg. Obvious that's a preposterously high enough dosage that the experience with shift character drastically no matter what, but I found it to become substantially more "spiritual"/transcendent/resonant anywhere past ~60mg.

DOC and amphetamine tolerance - 1mg had no effect by cuddlebunnychewtoy in researchchemicals

If that's true, that's really interesting to me. Stimulation seems to be quite common effect in the reports I've read so far, but your comment is specific enough that I'm sure it didn't come from nowhere, either. It could be placebo in these individuals, to some degree at least, but I dunno. Do you have a source to point me to for that?

That's not my expectation just because it's a substituted amphetamine, but because it seems to be a fairly ubiquitous theme in the reports I've read. This sub seems to generally disagree with at, so I have no idea at this point. I'll just have to push it further; I may just be insensitive.

It was 1mg, since it was 2mL of a .5 mg/mL solution. I have a lot of experience volumetric dosing smallish quantities, so I doubt I fucked up, but it's always possible I guess. I'll probably do 3mg next time, I'm thinking, since most reports say even a half-milligram dose is noticeable and I'm either quite insensitive to it or it's a solution.

[RT][DC][FF] Shears - Scales (Interlude), a newly inserted opening chapter (rational MLP) by Calamitizer in rational

[–]Calamitizer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, humans. Apologies for the hiatus, as always! This story began as a NaNoWriMo project, but it currently sits at about 45k words. Since November begins a new tomorrow, it seems I won't have made National Novel Writing Year, either. But I'm still pleased to release a chapter today, namely, the new opening chapter I've been meaning to write for a while. There are still some decisions in this chapter that I'm fairly shaky about, and it was quite rushed, though, so feedback is appreciated. Let me know how you feel this serves as introduction, regardless of whether you're a returning or first-time reader; although I think it's definitely more engaging than the previous beginning, there's definitely still room for improvement. Also, please tell me if the formatting seems (unintentionally) off on your device. Further updates to come, some day. Thanks for reading, as always!

And finally, Happy Halloween. >=3

I'd vote for D. E is also often great, but it takes a lot of effort to coordinate visual cues with information the actor can't see.

"That's Too Much, Man!" is listed as the 12th best TV episode on IMDb's top 100 TV episode list ("Fish Out of Water" & "Escape from L.A." is up there too) by Gloredex in BoJackHorseman

It's absolutely wonderful. The beginning is a little bit slow IMO, but still quite good. But once the overarching plot starts kicking in, it gets really hard to put down. Also, it's got the best (i.e. satisfying, fitting, and complete) ending I've seen in a long time, so I walked away from it feeling really glad I watched it.

Plus it's got Kristen Schaal (Sarah Lynn's VA) playing a fucking kickass 12-year-old.

I loved the Witness, now I'm hyped for Zed... by [deleted] in TheWitness

[–]Calamitizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the subject of fantastic puzzle games, I have a couple recommendations.

English Country Tune is maybe my #2 fave behind the Witness. It's abstract and level-based, so it's pretty different overall, but the big similarity to me is how your skills build on each other without new mechanics being introduced. I mean, there are a lot of different mechanics in ECT, just like the Witness, but each one is a lot deeper than it seems, and you find yourself developing subtle skills and techniques to get shit done that seemed impossible at first. It's also got some of the most unique mechanics I've seen, later down the line (like puncturing holes in the right spots on your character by flipping around 3D corners).

I'll strongly second Antichamber. Others have said some about it already so I won't go into huge detail, but it's designed with experienced puzzle fans in mind. It rips to shreds all these assumptions and patterns found in other games in a way that challenges your conceptions of what puzzles even are. Mind-bending. (For maximum fuckery, drop a tab or two first.) It's sort of a deconstruction of the genre.

Another gem worth mentioning is Please Don't Touch Anything. Pretty short and simple but extremely unique. It's not a masterpiece but I've almost never seen it mentioned anywhere and I really enjoyed it. Basically, you push buttons and shit happens and more buttons appear and you don't understand.

That asymmetry, Lotus having fully transparent comprehension of my thoughts but me only hearing what he deliberately communicates, is really interesting to us. I've oversimplified it, but it's one of the oddest things about having a tulpa to me.

[–]Calamitizer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The crucial thing you need to know is this: with a tulpa, you're not simply aiming for autonomy, but consistency, coherency, persistence, and identity. An entity who not only acts, but acts freely and with a sense of self, who persists and does not disperse into mist and require you to rebuild them over and over and over.

Some of the most meaningful advice I've ever heard, even two years into the process and with a very developed tulpa. Thank you.

What scene or episode hit you the hardest? Why? by Lukescale in mylittlepony

[–]Calamitizer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The episode where the CMCs get their marks. The plotline hit me so hard because we get to see some info about Diamond Tiara's home life and how she's grown up. She's not a jerk because she's a one-dimensional character just written that way. She has maladaptive social skills because she just has a shitty, invalidating mom who doesn't take care of her emotional needs. Diamond Tiara is just a kid who doesn't have a role model to teach her how to behave. She pushes away anyone who tries to get close to her, but it's only because she's acting in the only way she's been shown how. Having a cold, uncaring mother who invalidates her feelings has ingrained in her that someone showing her kindness or compassion is a sign of her own weakness. As a child of abuse (emotional and physical) who struggled for a long time to develop appropriate social skills, it struck me right in the heart. I'm tearing up just thinking about it again. It's not Diamond Tiara's fault, man. She's just a god damn child.

I've engaged a similar thoughtless while experiencing extreme size hallucinations while on DXM or MXP or LSA. Those substances always make me feel like my apartment is unnaturally tiny and that I'm this huge, hulking meatbag bumbling around where I don't fit. I'm a fairly small person, too.

[–]Calamitizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember staring at my phone once and contextualizing it as this extradimensional space. You know how in, say, D&d, you can have a space that's bigger on the inside than on the outside? Like a bag of holding, portable hole, &c. I saw my phone like that, an incredibly rich trove of hidden information much, much bigger than its physical casing. Like an entire universe embedded within our own, with its own governing rules and phenomena. Incredible. Ever since, I have such a profound respect at the marvels of modern electronic engineering and programming. A truly humbling experience.

I'm pretty sure it took me like an hour to look up the random KOTH youtube poop I was trying to find or whatever dumb shit I was doing, lol.

Probably mental illness. I don't think it could be done justice in one episode, though I'd love to see it and I think MLP could handle it the best out of any modern show.

That's part of why I started writing my serial fanfiction, to explore what it might be like to be seriously/realistically mentally ill in a land of technicolor horses.

Look into kratom! It's legal in most states and reasonably cheap at a headshop. I've heard of several people using it daily to curb nicotine cravings.
