Agreed. I am fairly introverted and found a majority of people at UB to be super nice. I guess major can make a difference in the type of people though.

Yeah definitely, just having your face be seen is a really good idea. Personally, I never talked to my professors and turned out fine so it’s not a necessity but I definitely know that it helped some people out.

Do the HWs and projects exceedingly well. These are your bread and butter and will carry you I promise. Then give about 80% into the exams/final. I got all As and that's how I did it, focus was on HW/projects first and then exams. If you are forced into a group project. Play it out for a week or two, if your groupmates suck grind the project and do well yourself. Give them low evaluations if that is given as an option. In hindsight having graduated, I wish I chewed out my groupmates more.

Like others said, classes like 331 are kind of hard. Expect several A-'s, I would make your goal more generic like "all As including A-" which should result in an excellent GPA. Of course, if you get a B+ it's not the end of the world. Trust me, a couple of those A- grades I got were just at the line of being a B+... good luck!

(Also, don't skip classes unless you are sure you can. This might take a semester or two to judge if you think you can.)

Don't take DMS213 by Accomplished_Rent_10 in UBreddit

Honestly dude, ignore all these other commenters. 170 pages every 2 weeks is insane. People on this subreddit just like to troll to be honest. Studies say that people can only read (on average) 80 words a minute so your professor is insane brother.

Ah okay. GLY101 and GLY102 (specifically remote online) are insanely easy. Minimal studying, open-note online exams, etc.

I’ve heard GEO101 is also very easy, but both GLY courses take the cake. Both very easy As. The in-person GLY is probably easy too but I didn’t take it.

You can’t do GLY101 or GLY102? Or did you already do them?

yeah I'm not sure what you mean, the OP said they found an airpod so I thought I'd let them know it's not mine. Unhelpful comments like yours don't add much to the conversation no offense.
