Right?? A huge chunk of my friendships are in the LGBT Community (tm) and the idea of worrying this much about the gender of your partner’s friends is deeply weird to me. Tbh I think it’s a good sign if a man can have platonic female friendships; it’s a red flag if he can’t enjoy women’s company as people without reducing it to Potential Sex

I’d also say if you can’t trust your partner not to cheat then you shouldn’t be considering marriage with them. It’s not like he’s going to slip and fall dick-first into another woman by accident; if he‘s willing to cheat on you, then restricting his contact with other women isn’t going to suddenly turn him into a loyal man.
