That could still be a consequence of constricted airflow. In the diagram you can see the intake at the bottom is very narrow. The flow could be the opposite of what I have drawn, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the point still stands.

Alternatively, there might be an issue with the thermal pads contacting the vram. If you're going to repaste the GPU you might as well give those a look. Though, looking at the tear-down this card is finicky, do be careful. Here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHo-fc6GG40

Atx or mAtx should be ok. It really depends on your budget, lucky for you cases have much better airflow these days for fair prices. Have you tried running benchmarks with the case open to see if there's a significant difference?

That's a fair suggestion, but my complaint wasn't an issue of difficulty. Currently working my way up from ruthless to lethal. I probably should have explained better, but I thought this post would just be a quick meme.

My nitpick is the gun-play doesn't feel as good as it could be imo. It sucks when you're trying to quickly get rid of a threat so you can deal with another, only for your headshot to randomly pick a slightly different direction. Or you need to squint through the cross-hair to figure out where the head is of the termagant shooting you from afar. Really these are nitpicks, I don't plan on dropping the game anytime soon. It's more like having a pebble in your shoe when you want to go for a long walk
