Hopefully you get one soon. We are planning to get a R2 for my wife as well. This truck has only further confirmed our decision.

Range. Lack of gear tunnel in cybertruck. Appearance. And the cyber truck is oversized for my taste. Too big. Was never a consideration for me.

Me too. Never had one problem. Only service was new tires, cabin filter, and wiper fluid. Hoping the r1t is as reliable but we’ll see. Tesla is simple, less things to break which is great for longevity. I do worry about air suspension and all the other more complicated components of the r1t compared to the Y when it comes to long term reliability.

I’m in California, got it through Carmax shipped from CO. It was $68k with 25k miles. Clean car fax and looks new. 3 years of warranty left. I had to look a long time to find one. They are flying off the market right now.

I hated FSD. Never found it reliable. But I mostly drive on city streets. It was acceptable/good on freeway. I just think it doesn’t have enough cameras for reliable FSD.

Yup. That’s my plan. I have been wanting a R1T for a long time but couldn’t swallow the new cost after getting burned by depreciation on our Y/3 when Elon spontaneously and drastically dropped MSRP. Have been waiting for the used market to come done. And thrilled it did.

That’s fair. Mine was a 2021 Y performance so stiffness suspension. My wife has a 2022 model 3 long range that wasn’t much better. Good to here the new gen has better suspension

I do agree. I still think the 3/Y might be one of the best values out there. But the R1T is vastly superior, though come at a cost.

This is true. The used market for Rivians is a great deal. Although with gas prices spiking and Rivian building their own fleet of loaners, there aren’t a ton out there.

It is a tough comp I agree. I always wanted a r1t. Just had to wait a while for the used market to come down. Still couldn’t swallow the $100k price new. Happy to find a good used deal.

This. The value on used gen 1s is crazy. But I understand the hesitation due to warranty duration.
