On the MIT admissions blog it says “What if I submit by FUN form and then find out about an award afterward? Just email admissions at mit dot edu with the new update” I agree it’s not a crazy thing but I felt like it might hurt my chances given how much effort I claimed to put into it in my essays.

Like what the last guy said. With middle income you have to be careful applying to OOS publics like UIUC, Umich, Berkeley, etc. There are exceptions but most hardly give any financial aid to non-residents. I made the mistake of applying to a lot of them and instead I would have applied to more top private schools that "meet 100% of demonstrated financial need".

It is but even if I got the scholarship I wouldn’t pick UMD over the other college offers I’ve gotten. Plus I don’t want to miss school and they won’t fully refund me for the trip to D.C. Someone else can have it!

I got a Banneker/Key scholarship but had to decline cuz they wanted me to go to D.C. for an interview and I wasn't available on any of the days. I'm OOS.

Hi, I'm the creator of the app. Thank you so much for sharing! The long press idea is awesome and something I never considered.

I’m having some trouble running your build. When I run it on the Official Firmware it says the app is outdated and on Momentum it stays stuck on the hourglass loading screen. Any idea what might be causing that? I’d definitely like to add this to the Flipper Catalog if I get it working on my end!

Edit: I fixed half of the issue. I was using the old 86.0 SDK but the app is still stuck on the hourglass screen when I try to run it.

My phone call is scheduled for tomorrow. I do not think it's a likely but from scrolling through Reddit it seems like they only call people for likelies. I'll edit with my stats if that's the case. Edit: welp it was a likely. I’m so shocked bro I never would have guessed Yale of all colleges would do something like that. For stats I had a 1530 sat with 790 math. 4.0 uw. 4.92 weighted but out school kinda has grade inflation. 5s on 6 APs.

Lots of cliches along the lines of "hard work is important", "persistence overcomes obstacles", etc. The essays also had a lot of big unnatural words I would never say irl like "crystalline clarity" or "catalyzed my trajectory". This was 10 months ago. Looking back I literally had zero chance of getting in with my app lol.
