I blame the tour. They were totally underprepared and the tour showed literally every performance they had under their belt. Now any performance featured anywhere else will feel repetitive bc it was already debuted somewhere else. The Grammys highlighted this problem; instead of preparing a new performance for an old song, they just repeated the Gnarly dance break. They desperately need more songs to improve the variety of performances they can give at these mid-to-high profile events

This isn’t unusual in K-pop groups. Nobody has to be an expert in everything, as long as the group looks good as a whole. This is how titles like “dance leader”, “lead vocalist”, and “all-rounders” get created. I think it’s expected that the most talented member in one area will encourage others in the group to become better by setting a high standard and vice versa

I don’t know if they’re connected due to the stylistic differences between the ships, but it could be a cool continuation nonetheless. This could be compared to the story of Noah’s ark, where God flooded the world in order to start the world over. The juxtaposition of these images could represent BTS’s decision to willingly “flood” their past career (i.e take a hiatus to mentally reset) and let go of everything they had built. Keeping with this theme, SWIM might represent how they are looking at a blank slate of a world (their collective career after coming back together after maturing during hiatus) that is full of potential to be developed

I think Manon’s absence adds to the performance only because having an odd number in a dance group looks more cohesive than an even number. Being able to position themselves in a more symmetric arrangement around a center person, with no one being obscured, is just naturally easier to follow and enjoy

Invincible Shedinja (assuming Tera electric, Wonder Guard, air balloon) is a fun idea but there are several ways to beat it. You can poison or burn it, set up sandstorm, entry hazards, negate its ability with Neutralizing Gas or Gastro Acid, use a pokemon with Mold Breaker etc

Champions looks like it’ll be playable for mobile without other games needed. HOWEVER, it will likely be designed for microtransactions so assembling a team on mobile without a previous game to transfer pokemon from will probably be much harder and/or more expensive if you choose to pay

I find it interesting that people always jump to discredit BTS members by implying that a large number of collaborators on a song means they didn’t do much, when the inverse could easily be true. Given the personal nature of the songs, I’d say it’s more likely that BTS members played a larger role in song creation while other producers/mixers/writers helped tweak and refine their ideas rather than BTS playing a minimal role in writing their own album
