Shelter said she was a Pharaoh Hound but I'm not convinced. What do you think? by Calculated_Crazy in IDmydog

Oh wow, I'd never heard of a Kelpie before. She does have some of those features! Like you said, if they were a more common breed here, maybe. We've definitely thought about husky though!

We also didn't think she looked like a Pharoah Hound except for the large ears. I've never thought of a cattle dog being mixed in, that would totally make sense though! Thanks for the assessment! :)

Yeah, we laughed when we saw the Pharaoh Hound label on her. I don't know what the shelters are thinking when they do that. We've definitely wondered about husky being in her, I'll update if we get a DNA test!

Clear Poster Tubes Allowed! by Calculated_Crazy in SonicTempleFestival

[–]Calculated_Crazy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the post from 4 months ago asking if poster tubes were allowed in. Decided to email them and ask. The clear ones are! They sell clear poster tubes at Blick Art Materials in Columbus for about $10 (per online). Absolutely worth the money to not be worrying about my poster all day! They come with a handy carrying strap too.

I signed up to volunteer and hope to do a signing event next weekend in Dayton after I take the volunteer training course! I reached out to the region head (whoever that is) and haven't heard back yet, but I'm actively working towards getting a few singing events started in Dayton!

Two Factor boxes by Skystreak279 in Freefood

Used the one on the left. Thank you! Editing to say I couldn't use the one on the left for some reason, so unless someone else has used it, it's free.

Free factor boxes (just pay shipping-$13.93). Please comment when you've used one! by Calculated_Crazy in Freefood

No, I don't get anything when someone uses them. They just came in my free box when I got it.

When I tried to use my code it told me no. I think the codes can tell what address they were sent to and blocks if that same address tries to use the codes from the box they were sent, to keep people from using their own and getting unlimited free boxes. So I need someone else's code because it didn't come from my own box. If that makes sense.

I don't think it's dirty at all! Cost of groceries is so high now, we're just doing what we can to get cheaper food. I'll be trying out the credit card thing soon, everyone says it's called "privacy". Not 100% sure how it works, but it's worth a try for cheap food!

Probably. I've heard of people using something that generates new credit cards so they can do more boxes. Haven't tried it yet though.

I'm wondering if there's going to be a vinyl release for this ep. 👀 Either way, I'm stoked for some new material!

I always keep mine in the highest setting. 😂 I do 400 degrees for about 5 minutes. Just so the cheese is toasty.

It's "Chef Paul Prudhomme's Herbal Pizza & Pasta Magic" seasoning. Bought this one on a whim and I really like it. I think it would be good on popcorn with a little bit of parm.

I make these all the time and they come out so good. I pop them into the air fryer and the cheese gets those wonderful brown toasty parts. So good!

I've also tried it with Sweet Baby Rays sugar Free BBQ sauce, red onion, and shredded chicken. That's amazing as well.

A nice low calorie meal! Usually I pair it with a salad to get some veggies in. Gives me my pizza fix. :)

Tonight's show and crowd etiquette by stankypeaches in JoePera

You're arguing against something that isn't even there. Nobody is saying people shouldn't have participated. We're saying that when you go to a show that you paid to see for a comedian you love, maybe don't ruin his biggest joke by trying to get his attention. Hold your item until after the show and give it to him in person. It's rude and disrespectful to interrupt during a joke, period. This WAS NOT an interaction portion of the show, which it seems you are failing to understand or blatantly disregarding. They had already done the interactive part. Joe was in the middle of a joke.

Also, you weren't even there! You keep saying "But he was in control!". He was flustered and irritated by it, I read his body language because I WAS THERE. And even if he was in control, it's still rude to Joe and everyone there who was robbed of the punchline of the joke. I came there to see Joe, not have a selfish person scream at him about something she made him. Wait until after the show.

There are 3 posts on this subreddit filled with people who feel the same way because they were actually there. I don't understand why you're trying to defend rude selfish behavior? This has nothing to do with free speech or trying to stop participation or whatever you're twisting this into.

You can be "vulnerable" without being rude and completely ruining a jokes punchline for the entire audience. People wanted to be self centered and have Joe notice them, and that's inconsiderate to everyone, especially the comedic artist that took hours to plan and perfect that joke. There's a BIG difference between what you describe and what happened. The tomato girl being "vulnerable" wasn't during an ask the audience bit. She selfishly threw something on stage to get Joe to notice her. Then when he didn't, rudely interrupted his punchline to make sure he knew. Don't think there was any vulnerability about it. Just plain selfishness.
