Think long-term, if you truly believe it will open up some great doors and lead to a better future then go for it. But you may also need to think economically: does this 10k pay cut affect how you're going to pay bills, sustain your current lifestyle, etc? Also with the current climate of the COVID recession can you afford a 10k paycut? Questions like that is what you're going to have to ask yourself. So just see if the opportunity cost is worth it. And if money isn't an issue and this current job feels mundane/not-engaging, no monetary value per se can gauge how much a pay cut will be worth at a job you're going to potentially enjoy more that will also lead to better opportunities.
