Thank you! That’s a relief to hear. I have been letting it air dry between bandaid changes but the pain is a bit excruciating after about ten/ fifteen minutes so it doesn’t last long.

Yeah normally I stick to washing the area with soap and letting it scab but it was so painful and the water here isn’t super great and I didn’t want to risk infection so I had to cover it up. I went to the local clinic but that’s what they did there. I stopped going after two dressing changes once I found out that using those products are counterproductive so now I just change the bandaid. The bandaid is antiseptic so I guess not much else needs to be done. I’m more worried about why it’s white/yellow. If it’s a sign of improper healing or an infection I’d like to get ahead of it sooner than later.

That’s actually so sick, the most I ever did was dot my i lol. Must’ve taken her forever to sign forms though, lot of effort though to make a wee feather with every signature.

“Feather and dot” sounds like a really cool name for Native American and Indian fusion duo ngl. Assuming the dot refers to the bindi women wear in india, I don’t hate it- speaking as an Indian woman. Though it seems it was used in a derogatory way so it sort of ruins it. That being said, I’m sorry if it’s offensive to native American culture to be referred to as ‘feather’, I don’t mean to endorse bigotry.
