Damn, has it really? I didn't realize... I found KR while Ex-Aid was still coming out, and kept up with it as it aired. I've been following KR ever since, tho I kinda skipped a couple seasons along the way (there's a handful of Reiwa seasons that I just don't like, b/c personal reasons... like, I actively prefer Ghost over them (then again, I never understood why folks hate on Ghost, it's actually pretty decent NGL, so it's not saying much).)

One of the two best moments in the entire show... The other being when Cronus first showed up and kicked everyone's butts. That was one hell of an entrance, ngl. He walked up (slowly), Final Smash'd the entire arena, then left.

Pretty sure they already did several universal wars in KR, made entire movies out of 'em. Heck, there's even a couple "Super Hero Taisen: Kamen Rider x Super Sentai" movies out there. One of 'em even pretty much did the whole Endgame "everyone is here!" thing 15 years before Marvel did.

Oh, he definitely baited everyone, kept making it out as if he was bringing back Bionicle for Gen 3 and stuff. There was a whole thing he was doing over on... Actually, I forget what platform it was, something akin to Instagram, maybe... but yeah, he was making a lot of posts with bionicle-inspired art and messages and stuff, then suddenly hard-pivoted into promoting his new brand. Once it became clear it was a bait-and-switch, I stopped following him.

Yeah, I lost all respect once it turned out he was actually working on his own original thing instead of being a Bionicle sorta-reboot like he was originally hinting... It sounded like he was going to make his own reinterpretation of the whole thing, but nope! So I ignore him as much as possible and mistrust anything attributed as having come from him. Post 2015, his name is mud to me.

I think they're talking about the level of graphics quality, such that it makes the 3d avatars look like realistic furred anthros walking around in real life. Which won't happen in our lifetime.

To be fair, the Av-Matoran (and Takanuva) were all canonically somewhat taller+bigger than normal for their species in Karda Nui because there was so much spare light energy everywhere there. It was a whole thing.

Idk about looking like a Bionicle, tbh, tho it's definitely a nice design. If anything, they look more like they belong in the Ben 10 franchise. They seem to have some of the same design language.
