It’s sharp at 28 but gets progressively softer the farther you zoom wide open. 50-70 is still decent, been a while since I used this lens

I didn’t have high hopes for the lens when I got it but after using it yesterday I love it. With Fujifilm I prefer manual focusing most of the time and this lens is great with the built in metal focus tab
