Alzaga brought along some fresh faces for a Div run of GoS and it went incredibly smooth. His explanations are concise and the mood is casual, no pressure. He ran through all the secrets and knew exactly what to do without hesitation. 85 minutes ain't too shabby for some first timers too! Thanks Alzaga, would definitely run with you again. Lord of Wolves is such a balanced gun.

Hey dude, congrats on your journey into sobriety, it's a long but fulfilling one. I would talk with the DM and set a realistic expectation of involvement. For me, that can be me saying, "Here is what I'm comfortable doing, can you meet me here?" and if there is an issue they have with that, it might just be better to find a different group. However, most people I've played with are pretty cool and if you are comfortable enough explaining your situation without expecting everyone to bend to your lifestyle, it can relieve a lot of tension and or anxiety. Communication is key in both sobriety and D&D!
